Existing fairgrounds site in Estes Park required irrigation design for drip and native seed areas. The initial meeting and site walk revealed the additional need for MPi Designs to assist the town in contracting an irrigation installer and aiding in the bidding and review process. Bidding assistance, RFIs and submittal review were included in the contract for this project. MPi Designs acted as the owner's representative for the town to aid in contractor installation.

The site contains light industrial, commercial, and residential housing, including a community center and mile-long walking trail through a native area. Major installation changes during the first phase forced a redesign of the control system and mainline connections. The central control system was research and designed in order for impromptu phasing to create an operational irrigation system. Both two-wire and traditionally-wired control systems were utilized in order for the entire site to communicate and function efficiently using three (3) taps, master valves, and flow sensors.
